If it's as good as the other the sec will burn out after a day or 2 the the steering motor will quit then the brushes on the motor will burn off and nearly catch fire...at least that's my experience

LOL. The RTR is a bigger pile of poo. Get the kit and it comes with a better motor and a proper servo. Add a $7 10 or 20a ESC and your Tx/Rx of choice from something laying around and it’ll last until the driveshafts break. But it’ll look damn cool for 5-10 minutes. They offer some better driveshafts for $8 though.

Agreed. I wouldn't get an RTR, but the kit is OK for the price. On a cheap 5 cell NIMH pack it has just enough power to crawl with, but not so much it immediately breaks or melts the motor. Its cool for what it is. | |
