Default Wpl c24

I’ve decided to give this kit a chance. I think I paid $34 from gearbest so I know I can’t expect much. It’s my only micro crawler that I currently own so I plan to fix it up and throw some money at it to get it some what reliable. So far I bought metal trusses, metal upgrade bag which includes knuckles, driveshafts, metal ring and pinion gears, new axle shafts (idk if there stronger than stock) also come with ball bearing set. Oh and ordered a 2 speed! I have a mamba micro laying around that I plan to use. For now I’ll use the stock servo and motor run it on a 2s.

I plan to do a little build here but I’m sure it will be slow build because everything comes from over seas. The actual car kit will be here tomorrow (monday). As for the other parts I have no idea yet. Hope it doesn’t take a month ha ha.

I’m currently doing the same build. C24, 2speed, and metal upgrade kit. I’m still waiting on parts so I’m taking my time with painting.

I got my truck from Banggood, and it only took about a week to arrive. But when I went to order the upgrade parts, Banggood was sold out so I got them from EBay. It was the cheapest available price I could find, but now I’m waiting for the slow boat from China.

The build for now is pretty much done. Just need to mount my electronics. Took about a hour to build. I’m still waiting for the upgrades to show up.

Looks good. I’m thinking of getting one and just keep it stock aside from electronics.

I’d paint those wheels silver or black.

Mine arrived the other day as well. I started to assemble it but am also waiting for the upgrades to come in. Did you get the 2 speed with the larger motor?

Also need another Tx and Rx for my sons..

I got the upgrade kits with the 370 2speed that included axle bearings and metal drive shafts, knuckles, gears, hexes and cvs.

I was gonna order the links and axle trusses too but they didn't have enough for both the trucks.

I was thinking of putting in one of them the dual n20/30 motor setup to see how it compares. It gives the truck way more ground clearance from the look of it. But I'm not too familiar with those motors and I don't want it to be too slow and no fun to trail with.

There are different speed n20 motors available, so you could change them out easily enough. And they’re cheap too. My only concern is that they are really small, so torque might be an issue. I have one of the 370 2 speeds also, but I’ve yet to install it.

I think the weight of the 370 might also help the truck.

Any ideas on some shock upgrades? I don't like the way the factory ones mount all loose and rattley

If your asking about the ball cups on the shocks then I'm pretty sure that end goes to the axle/truss. The build is coming along, it's a slow build due to most parts coming from overseas. I did just order a metal link set for $12 haha and a $8 esc from amazon. I currently have a mamba micro x in there but it sits to tall and hits the body/interior. The body does mount but it's a press fit, plenty of room tho if you remove the lower part of the interior (seats).

Here are the current pictures of the rig. Seen a guy some where else that mounted the servo using the long horn so I decide to do the same. I plan to make a metal top plate that will hold the servo down and act as a place to mount electronics. Thanks for looking!

Looks good. I have 2 of probably the same esc you ordered. I got them and realized I got the non brake ones. So might swap them out.
