| Rc4wd wheel fitment question.
I purchased the steel beadlocks from rc4wd for my barrage. They fit fine, but the stock barrage nut is too fat that I cannot tighten it. Any suggestions?? Why jump on the bandwagon, when you can ride the Short Bus? |

You need 4mm wheel nuts and the special wrench that's included with the wheels to fit in there.

I bought the same wheels and had the same problem with them originally wanting them on my Barrage to but ending up just putting them on my Pro-line ambush since 4mm nuts work on those. Before I put them on the ambush I was trying to find a wider 5mm nut so my wrench didnt have to go in between the lug nuts so there would be room to tighten it. Overall the design of that from RC4WD was very poor thinking leaving no room for other size wheel nuts to be used. Also my Barrage is the only one of my micros with 5mm axles so they were the odd one of the bunch too. Last edited by Toyotarc; 10-29-2018 at 04:58 PM. | |

Darn it! Pliers it is!! How do you assemble these darn things without then wobbling after you tighten the screws? A little wobbly, but not too bad. Wheels look tough on this truck!! Last edited by THX_138; 12-13-2018 at 09:10 AM. |

I’ve never been a fan of those wheels. They’re a real p.i.t.a. all around. They’re hard to mount tires on, and hard to mount on your rig apparently. Also they just don’t look very scale with those screws for “lugnuts”. I’ve always been a fan of Fungi’s 3D printed wheels from Shapeways. You can get them in different offsets, add you can wrap lead tape around them for added weight. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/lynx...5Border%5D=asc |
