They've come a long way in their quality since I got my first two, fit and finish is much better on the newer stuff.

Well, looks like I should have listened!
With the new trans this thing is quick enough in 2nd that the non-adjustable drag brake of the 1060 makes it stop and lift the rear tires.
Gonna order a 1625 now.
Thanks for all your testing and info.

No problem I like the 1060 but the 1625 is smaller and works well with the 2spd

I placed my order and it should be here in about a week.
I use this rig as a little trail basher around the yard; not much actual crawling.
Does the 1625 free wheel pretty well when letting off the throttle in 2nd?
Also, was your 2 speed servo awkward to adjust?
I had to max out my endpoints and sub trims on my dx3r to get it shifting properly.

1625 has no drag brake so it will coast in high gear, it coasts very little in low, it will hold itself on a hill with the gears. You can move the plastic arm on the rod to get some adjustments also.

Yeah. I definitely had to mess with the arm.
Seems to work well even though my servo only moves from 9 to about 6:30.
I can’t get it to 6 o’clock, but it works.

Got my 1625 installed and it's perfect!
Just what I wanted from this little rig.
Thanks for the help.
