I ordered the same day from BG (USA EXpress shipping) and just got mine this week. The one I ordered 2 days earlier from AE (epacket) arrived on the same day.

I am still waiting on my metal upgrade kit order 2 days before the car lol. Hit salt lake city, UT and then California earlier this week.

Originally I ordered the kit from Gearbest the beginning of November. After waiting until the 12th for the item to reach the US, I chatted with gearbest and they told me the package was attempted to be delivered and got returned to sender. I was like, no way it made it to the US, from China, got denied by my receptionist, made it all the way back to China in like 10 days. So she dug a bit deeper and the freaking truck got denied at customs from entering the US. The dumbasses wrote lubricating oil on the customs declaration which is one of the prohibited items that cannot be imported from China.

All the stuff is ready to be shipped... it's just stuck somewhere.

All metal axles, kinda TLT looking but should be pretty stout, I can tell from the pics they have bearings but not sure about ring and pinion, will teardown and inspect.

Not sure about shocks yet, I have numerous springs from Harbor Freight that may work. If not I'll get into that later. I was going to go with the 2 spd but do I really need to go fast lol and both the 2 spd and the T-case take away some ground clearance but the T-case looks heavier. So yeah I'm going to have a few bucks in this but I think it'll be fun and give me a winter project.

Turd has arrived lol, I must have gotten a newer version of the rtr it has a servo and a 2cell lipo!

It's even got soft white LEDs! I can work with this, ran pretty good in the rocks outside, well river rocks lol. Gonna make a great little mini Marlin! I shimmed the pinions while I was in there, still too much slop there from the factory.

Opened another parts bag and there's spare links in there too. Heard thats been an issue, not too bad I'm kinda impressed for a $40 turd. The steering actually will turn pretty sharp with the steering trim knob but not great with the wheel lol. Doesn't matter all the stock crap is history.

Sure would be nice, I hope you do, hope they come in my kit version too! When I opened it up I was surprised to find the servo, then the lipo, then the brass gears. The servo will be changed out to a MG90s but i'm gonna run that one til it dies lol. I've watched so many videos of these things I already knew how to tear it apart lol.

I can't believe how much I like this little thing, it's just so neat for what it is and what it cost, I know between the two trucks I'll probably have about $300-$350 total for two trucks but they will be fully upgraded where as the RC4wd 1/18 is $229 bone stock to start for just one truck. I think it will be a fun challenge lol

Also noticed that they must have redesigned the driveshafts as they don't bind under full compression. They will be changed over to metal anyway but it's nice to know they are making changes to improve anyhow.

Both my kits (one yellow one red) that came in last week have plastic gears

But my metal upgrade kit finally came in so...
