Gonna order one of these Wpl C24 tonight, was wondering what's a good esc to get for this? What are you guys running for a good servo? And am seeing this right is it four linked in the front with cms?

Re: Kincer's mini Yota

I just bought one of the ESCs recommended for them. - https://www.banggood.com/2030A-Mini-...?rmmds=myorder

It's 4-link with CMS, but the CMS on this truck screws up the steering geometry.

I had a friend print an axle servo mount from thingiverse.

Re: Kincer's mini Yota

I was thinking maybe try the leaf springs out and might be able to get better steering, works on a Tf2 lol. I don't know anyone with a printer can you buy those axle mounts?

Re: Kincer's mini Yota

Well I pulled the trigger, I'm hoping I got the kit, I got it from Amazon because I had gift cards, around $51 shipped. I'm not really sure whether it's the RTR or the kit, the product info said both and it was really unclear. So it'll be a surprise when it comes in the next 3 weeks lol. I found an axle servo mount on ebay so that will eliminate fooling around with the bump steer. Anyone recommend a good servo for these?

I use a cheap mg90 and it fits well. It could use a little more oomph, but does fine.

Got an email from Amazon that my first truck will be early, coming Tuesday the 11th and the other from banggood will be here the 12th SWEET! Ordered a 6 pack of MG90s servos for $20 from Amazon and two servo on axle mounts from ebay. As far as the rest of the upgrades go I'll get those first of the year. I think I'll run them stock and have the parts on hand and upgrade as needed.

Banggood used to be my go to. Now they’re hit or miss on shipping things out. I ordered a C24 as well 5 other things RC related. The C24 and spare axles have yet to be processed through to leave China. The chassis and ESC made it to my house a week ago. I contact them and get a screen shot of the same tracking data I’ve been looking at. LOL, WTF. Oh, well.

Edit: Just looked again. The axles have been processed through USPS at NYC. AKA, the Black Hole of post.

I'm gonna need a esc still but I'm not sure what I want to go with yet. I think I'm going to wait on that and see how much room I have to work with and go from there.

The small 20/30a ESCs work well for sub $10. Especially on the stock motor and 2s.

Will that esc work with the 2spd uprade motor?

I have three of them spread across the dining room table I'm upgrading for the grandkids for Christmas. They are 4 link front and rear. I'm using misc. electronics I had in a parts box.

Probably not for any extended amount of time. Look at that small HobbyWing one. It has a little connector to swap from freerolling to drag brake. HW1060 maybe. I run them on some 540 cans in my kids ECX Amps. $20, cant beat it.

Re: Kincer's mini Yota

I just figured it out for less than $300 I've got two trucks fully upgraded with 2spds and all the other stuff. Not too shabby! I got all the upgrades in my cart on ebay so after Xmas I'll get that stuff on the way and by that time I'll have everything painted and ready. Pretty excited as I don't have anything major to do to my 1/10 stuff so it'll give something to do.

Ugh, I don't know what the hold up is on mine.

I ordered on Nov 16th from Banggood. When I check the tracking I get: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
