Let us know if you order one. Basically the same running gear as WPL but the axles are a little wider and tires a little taller, exact same from what I can tell other than that. I tried ordering one from Banggood but they said it couldn't ship with any shipping method other than EMS or something, which was about $15 so I canceled the order for now Sent from my VS996 using Tapatalk |

Mine just came in. Other than peeking into the box I haven't done much yet, but what I've seen looks good. I've got four of the WPLs I'm upgrading the electronics in for the grand kids. I've finished one but still have three to put back together and time is getting short.

Looks good, but at that price I would expect a cheap, all-plastic toy.

| Re: Not micro but 1/12 I'm gonna pick one of these up, they take a few bucks to get up to par but they are pretty cool, the bodies are worth the price alone. Most of the Wpl Yota upgrades will work for these too.

Info from a review on Banggood: For the right price a nice truck in "WPL-Style" - 1/11th scale First I wanna say: I am rather angry. Bought this little "D90 Defender" the first day it was available here at Banggood. I had to pay 48 Euros and used some points to make it a little bit cheaper. And only few days after being available Banggood lowered the price to 31 €. Customers who bought the truck before or even preordered it, hat to pay more than 50% more. This is not nice, Banggood! The truck comes in a nice coloured box with a coloured manual (small, but ok). The body is very nice, two different types of roofs, very detailed. Comes with two front light LEDs (cold white), but it is possible to "totally light up" this D90, as the big one. Grill, lights, glasses for lights (have to be painted red and orange), door handles, windshield wipers, etc. have to be mounted separately, what makes painting of the body really easy. Comes with full detailed interior. The plastic of the Accessoires is very nice "rubberish". The D90 is 1/11 scale compared to a real Defender D90 (while the "big" 1/10 model is about 1/9 - 1/9.5). Unfortunately the seats are only about 1/15 scale (testing different action figures of different scales to fit into the car). The MN-90 comes with a nice sticker set, with "Camel-Trophy" stickers, and "Landrover" stickers (some changed letters and words - probably because doing this without licence). The MN-90 comes with a motor little larger than "130", the motor size is 33 x 15 x 29 mm). It also comes with a servo, that is little larger than the "normal sized" micro servos. Frame is of metal, maybe aluminium, and it is very soft (no C-channel as in the WPL trucks), can be bent easily. The chassis parts seem to be similar to WPL trucks, gearbox, axles, … Wheels and tires are nice, but nor very soft (in between WPL RTR tires and "spare tires"). Unfortunately it has some of those rims and tires with different diameter in- and outside, so will be a challenge to find suitable tires for those rims. Did not build the truck yet, but guess I know what to expect from those other 1/16th trucks. Love body and Accessoires! Would be very happy with this purchase, if I would not have paid far too much for it. Banggood, you should not do this to your valued customers (announcing a new car, and significantly lowering the price after short time). |

The tires from this kit fit on the Axial 1.2/1.55 rims. They are discontinued now so they will be a bit difficult to find. I have the Axial BFGoodrich KR2s on my defender on the stock rims.
