Looking forward to more details about the droop suspension.

When I get my new wheels and tires, should I run the foams that come with them?

Getting the 1.0" Scramblers that are 61.7 mm tall. They are the Advanced X2SS [super sticky & super soft compound]

Will be on the RC4WD "chrome stamped steel beadlocks"

In my experience, when you start adding weight to these guys they really need the foam. More so for preventing the tire getting folded under binding. But then again, added these wheels and tires to my GELANDE and it works OK, but I still experience the same problem because that sucker is heavy! But they do look good on it. No need to cut the foams either.

And also, I think the freezer trick might work pretty well with these tires. (I’ve noticed some sucking in of the tires since it’s gotten cold here in California.)

It's all personal preference really
Most of the smaller tires don't seem to need foams in most cases, the Goodyear MTRs do in some cases, the scramblers seem to need them in most cases just for sidewall support. Venting wheels definitely helps the tires conform.
As far as the freezer trick that only seems to work for me with Losi micro wheels.
It hasn't worked on Barrage/Ambush, and definitely not SCX24 wheels. Neither did heat which almost always works or tire debonder.
I'm going to revisit the heat again trying something else.

I didn’t necessarily mean in general spoo buddy, just for those spots where they want to get caught up in between the rocks. Foam seems to help. We all remember how they looked earlier in the thread without the foams! (scramblers)

And just to make sure we’re on the same page, the freezer trick is so they don’t want to suck in with the change of ambient temperature (lower)? (Making the whole thing ice before you actually tighten down the bolts so they are air tight)

Oh, I thought you were discussing the freezer trick for removing stock glued tires from wheels

I couldn’t help myself and got another one so I could compare a stocky to my upgrades… And I couldn’t help myself and through on the good years. But for comparison purposes I will put back on the claws....

And got my daughter one for her nine-year-old birthday today. Customizing the paint job on a new body!

I used a very similar color for my daughters' Deadbolt.

Nice! Great minds…
I suppose it being her favorite color doesn’t hurt either. Will post pictures when done.

Who's had luck removing the stock tires off the rims?

I plan on boiling mine. It's worked well in the past.

Get some acetone. It will dissolve cyanoacrylate.

Let us all know what works to separate the tires and wheels!

And done with my daughters crawler! What y’all think about the swampers with the white wheels with the purple and black?

Thank you for helping me make my decision! I now agree!

Also the extra track width doesn’t hurt!

After doing my daughters paint job, decided to add a little “flare“ to my red body. My masking skills aren’t what they used to be but I still think it turned out pretty good! It’s what I initially wanted to do to her’s, but was in a time crunch.

And again, just want to make clear these are all different crawlers…

It’s becoming one of mine also after painting it! My wife already wants to steal it! I even painted the Inside of the transmitter flap to match the car as best I could… Can’t really tell in the picture but that’s a slight silver backing to make it sparkle! (Like Dave Chapelle’s doodoo!) And it came out how I wanted, so you can still see the LED on light, even in the sun.
