1st leaf sprung scx24 (smc + chassis by blade)

Hey guys

I was able to mount my losi micro crawler leaf sprung chassis by blade onto scx24 axles thanks to my friend Matt. (IG tag Wt_micro)

He made a couple mounts for me that arw similar to the the original mounts used to mount the losi axles.

Hey nice work! I think I saw this on IG too. I’ve been curious about a leaf spring ‘24, seems like Losi and Proline have done it?
Curious why you chose the Scx axles over the stock Losi axles? For the worm gears?

Yeah Proline had the 1:25 Ambush, its discontinued now.

Both axles are worm gears.

The losi axles are great but they are very bulky and require me to use extenders because of how short they are. I hate the scrub radius that comes with them.

The scx24 axles on the other hand are easy to open up, much longer, and they’re slim. They also allow me to bolt up some brass!

Got the links, drive shafts, and shocks mounted. Have to work that “shock tower” so it flows a little nicer with the frame.

All the bounce has been eliminated from the springs due to the new shocks.

I’m going to end up replacing these shocks with the oil ones from hr in the future. These were just for testing.
