They feel no different than stock since I’m using the stock springs. I just have way more articulation. The rear axle almost goes full vertical. I must have 65mm+ of articulation. It sags in the rear a little to much and I can’t put anymore preload on the shocks. Messing with rgt adventure shocks springs now. To be continued... Sent from your iPhone. |

So back to the Losi micro shocks. Do they fit on the scx24 ball studs or do I need to get the Losi ball studs I do remember something about 5/32 tubing? Have you tried the Losi shocks on the front yet? |

Losi shocks snap on just fine. And the tubing I used from one shock mount to the other I’ll recheck the size. I bought three different sized rods and I think it might be the 5/32. Sent from your iPhone.

Carisma oil shocks are bad ass! I used some rubber o rings that you typically use to shield wire going through a wall. And they hold onto the stock ball ends just fine. I had some RGT springs which look identical to the carismas. I cut those down a few rings. And this is end result. Check out that flex! Sent from your iPhone. i just got those shocks for my Carisma Coyote Pup... now I"m thinking they belong on my SCX24... so you just used a grommet to fix the overly large openings. what weight oil are you running?

| Re: Bigworm’s SCX24 Build Correct. I found mine at my local hardware store. Im sure any rubber tube would work. Mine are tight enough to not come off at all. But much easier to remove than plastic on metal ball caps if that makes sense. I left what little oil was in mine alone. I didnt add any yet.

I also have mine installed to the hole your battery tray connect though. And I have cut springs to make it sit where I wanted. Stock height spring is too tall. RGT springs are exactly the same size and I used those to save my carisma springs. But they look and feel identical.

Just got a little package in the mail from HCP. I didn't realize these little things were kits, I love it! Time to build some tiny shocks...
