Doh, my bad.

And sorry to tease you with a new shock that doesn't exist, lol.

I also got a set of the Hobby Plus CR-24 aluminum shocks in today. I'm not sure which set I'm going to try first. Hmm...

Update:

My front axle wore my three link “chicken bone” down and was starting to make noise.

So I 4 linked the front end with spare parts I had laying around. It solves the drive shaft from rubbing, but I lost 5-8mm of articulation?!

I only changed out the chicken bone. And I keep my links the same length as the chicken bone so I’m not sure what caused that but oh well.

Before I 4 linked articulation...

What Hardware store (Was it a Chain) did you get the mounting grommets. Please!! I can’t find them!

You tried shrink tube? That's what I'm going to try when I dive into mine.

Yeh, I’ve been running the HR shocks that way since I got them wanted to do a comparison. The Grommets that I have found have just been to big or the rubber was to hard, tried cutting a section out, that only ended up with glueing them to the shock that just makes the grommet to rigid. Doesn’t let the ballstud swivel at the shock ends. Ive found two layers of heat shrink works best, on the backside where the threads poke thru heating a paperclip for the hole works better than an exacto knife.

Finally got around to installing these little guys. Nice little shocks but the springs are too stiff. Finding softer springs might prove difficult so I might just try to cut these down a bit. They sure look nice though, that's for sure.

I used these springs for mine. I also cut a couple coils off them as well. But I did the rear only.

So, I got a set of Mill Stone wheel spacers. They don't fit. It's quite interesting that the nuts that came with the spacers don't fit inside the actual spacer itself. I'm wondering if you drilled them out to get them to fit.

He makes a few versions. From what I understand there is LOSI and there is REDCAT version.

The losi ones fit RC4WD, RGT, and the SCX24. And the redcat ones fit redcat, HBX and something else.

I know the redcat version have larger circumference barrel nuts. Perhaps you got losi spacer with redcat nuts? Thats what Im thinking.

Do you recall where you got them from? Have a order out for the Mini Monster truck tires on those wheels. Just wondering if they can be found wheel only.

Thanks!

The rim only option below. But I dont know if you get the rings and bolts. So I would buy the finished wheel and keep the monster truck tires. Buy the time you find beadlocks and bolts, you will be around the cost of the finished wheel.

Got it figured out last night. I'm not real bright sometimes. The nuts fit fine in the spacers. They didn't fit fine through my RC4WD black steel wheels. I drilled out the wheels a bit and all is well.

I continue to be amazed at the capabilities of this little rig. It's incredible.
