Interesting... wonder how much better the new spring rate is. Good find Spoo76!

Just put some on my SCX24. Unfortunately they're a bit stiff. Need to find softer springs or cut a few rings down. Nice shocks otherwise for sure. Last edited by punkindrublik; 08-01-2019 at 05:14 PM. |

I was able to get these to work on my SCX24 with some modification. The lower ends don't work with the SCX24 ball studs, and as mentioned the springs are kind of stiff. I ended up drilling out the SCX24 lower perch/ball cup with a 1.6mm drill bit and threading them on to the 2mm CR24 shafts. Then I was able to use the SCX24 springs. Full articulation, and smooth as butter. |

Nice work! I just ended up putting a sheath of shrink tube over the balls and the shocks seem to be staying on just fine so far. Looks like I may be trying to fit some those stock springs on myself. |

What did you use for the upper mount?

A piece of heat shrink over a m1.4x10mm screw. I have since changed that to just using the stock shock cap threaded onto the aluminum body.
