Those are the cages GAMY makes, these people add the Rocksta stuff and make it RTR

I absolutely agree! but the guy that makes these really isn't into crawling. Hes admitted he likes fast bashing rigs, that's why he makes everything he builds with faster gearing.

For those still interested get yourself a Rockstar basher dke $80ish and his same cage from shapeways for $30-$35 and save yourself $225 lol

Totally agree on being overpriced, I though they were 1 off metal cages the way they were talking about it.

Those were super expensive because of the metal cages costing way over $100 each on Shapeways to build (Shapeways refused to build them anymore due to complexity of design), plus they were exclusive designs for SRRS and limited run (25 total). I talked to them and they agreed to bring them in plastic prints like the Fatgirl and Showtime designs I sell in Shapeways so hopefully soon. Also, the main reason we went with Basher is because you can easily swap the stock gears around and go from super slow crawl to super fast for the bouncer work with 2 130 motors which is way stronger than any other 1/24 out there and also because it doesnt use driveshafts which would break easily with bouncer duties. The heavier metal cage would just make regular driveshafts snap when under load. The 4ws feature also comes in handy when crawling. Im trying to get them out soon but may focus more on SCX24 variations since that seems to be the most popular crawler out there right now.

Those prices are so high that they are funny. You'd think it's April Fool's Day, but it's not. You are a fool if you pay that much for them, though.
