| SCX24 “Bomber”
Been playing around with with my SCX24 and my 3D printer. Super fun combo! Cage/chassis was printed in two pieces with the tranny mount separate from the rest. Using an extra set of links to change the wheelbase and changed the front suspension to a 4 link. Stock electronics for now. I’m still making tweaks to the design, but it seems to run pretty good so far. I’m also working on making some offset wheels to stretch out my track width a little. |

Lol..finished my 3rd version of the cage. Made some changes so that I could fit a 600mah 1s lipo behind each “door” to basically make a 2s saddle pack as I didn’t like the way the 2s fit and was so visible. I also raised the shock mounting points and made custom axle mounts to allow me to run longer Losi Micro Crawler or HR shocks. I made a removable fpv micro camera mount that fits in the stinger bumper (my son and I like to screw around with fpv around the house). I added a 6 led light bar to the roof which is probably overkill and is blindingly bright ;). Oh, and I made up some offset wheels, but I’m still trying to decide if I want to gain the extra width at the expense of a reduced turning radius. Pics coming shortly...

Wheelbase is pretty close to stock. I shortened the rear and stretched the front to center the tranny and make the buggy cage look right.

Any chance you’ll end up printing and selling any cages?

No plans to print and sell. I am hoping to post up the plans to share eventually on somewhere like Thingiverse.

Attached is a link to the main STL files for this build. I would love to see pictures and/or hear feedback on here or through Thingiverse if you end up making one! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3882295 |

Excellent. I have neither an scx24 or 3d printer. If I did, I would be all over this. Subbed for pics/videos of those that do. | |
