Tried to find the adapter cables. Can you link?

Also is the connector that goes into the ESC called PH 2.0?

Too much juice going to the servo. BEC time!

I was considering a BEC for my setup but I'm not sure how it would be wired since the receiver and ESC are one unit, which means you can't disable the ESC's BEC. Wouldn't the external BEC and internal BEC 'fight' each other?

You could power the servo directly with 2s as long as the servo can handle 7.4 v or use bec to power servo. Would be nice if there were more electronic options.

OK guys, you all were right... I tried it again with the dual rate turned down. I turned it down, until it didn't brown out anymore. It wasn't much adjustment @ all, and I still have quite a bit of steering

also, there is now 2 zip ties on the right front (the other 3 only have 1 zip tie), to help with the weight bias of the motor making it lean right. seems a lot more flat now in my testing

When I put some O-rings to fix the slop on the steering I noticed that the dual rate could be backed off quite a bit and reduce minor binding at full lock... it's about half or 3/4 way... can still turn the same amount just much less stress on the servo pushing it further than it wants to... On mine it looked like it was forcing the linkage to bend.

Mine was fixed with backing off the dual rate. Backed it off in little increments, and stopped when it went away.

I have the shapeways linkage. It was actually causing the white plastic horn to deform

Did you have any issues with the hex on the axles? The hex on the SCX seems larger than that on my RC4WD wheels.

No issues.

Oem fit fine. I am currently running milstone spacers, and those fit fine also

SCX24 wheel hexes are known to be slightly bigger than the 7mm standard. File/sand them down or swap to different wheel hexes

Haven't had a problem with any of my 24s. You do need to drill the center hole out to 3mm if I remember correctly

Hey jimbo74,
I have been looking for a good battery option for the SCX24 and wanted to know how you are getting on with the Floureon batteries. Do you like them?

They have been great.

Never had a problem with the stock batteries, other than the goofy plugs though. I did try to make my own PH 2.0 connecyors, and that was a nightmare...

After I got the batteries and adapters, good to go.

Awesome, thanks! I just ordered my SCX24 and wanted to go ahead and get a few more batteries. I'll definitely grab those adapters too, as to save the headache of making my own.
