| Amazon DIY Parts for WPL 1/16 truck
Came across this offering in Amazon the other day and wondering if anyone has tried it and what their experience was? I purchased this truck and admire the detailed body, but the electronics and mechanicals are a joke. Mine won't drive an inch without binding. Thanks, John |

I have one of their kits, it’s a joke as well and now in my random RC box. Lol. I bought used a hobbywing esc off ebay $25. I personally would advise not investing money in one.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: Amazon DIY Parts for WPL 1/16 truck This truck in the metal kit version is well worth the the money, the RTR's are complete garbage. Any decent small ESC with a drag brake with the proper size metal gear servo will work great for these. Totally bypass getting the RTR version. I got my metal kit version for $65. There is a ton of useful info on all of the WPL's on YouTube.

Finally got the truck to run, by switching to a 2 cell 500 lipo. Runs great forward and reverse. Now to install an esc and Spektrum rx and a decent steering servo. Then I'll consider the upgrade kit... John |
