Default CR-18 New Body

Instead of buying another CR-18 I just got a Convoy body kit to replace the Rushmore Scout body.

I did a horrible job on the paint but I like the colors.

It looks great and the blemishes are hardly noticeable.
Anyone who has anything to say I would say F-off!
You could easily go over any mistakes with paint or marker.
I especially use marker around windows when paint drips.

Looks good. I just picked up a "Toyota" version of the Hobby Plus CR-18 and I like it so far. I got mine from www.crossrc.us ($80+$15 shipping). I also picked up the gray "G-Armour" body for the CR-24 since it had lots of nifty accessories on it (rack, light buckets, mirrors and snorkel). All-in-all, the purchase came to $112 with extra parts body. Very pleased with the looks. I added a CB antenna at the rear which is a bike derailleur cable routed through one of the rear bumper posts. I plan to clear-out the windows and paint the wheels black or gold.

Good idea getting those parts off the G-Armour body. Makes the Toyota look good! I vote for gold wheels like I put on my Tacoma
