| Jerky movement when steering left
When I turn left with my SCX24 I get jerky movement. It is like the driveshaft is hitting something for every lap the wheel rotates. No any problem when going straight or when turning right. Any ideas? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk |

Check the knuckles to see if one of the pins is coming out of the dog bone

Take of the front wheels and check for rubbing.

Would not it be better to find tire rub with the wheel installed? Removing the wheels removes the problem if in fact it is tire rub, Model in a hard right push it back and forth. Then remove the wheel start looking for mechanical binds. pep |

Watch where it is when it does this. As with real cars, these micros will rub at the bottom of the firewall and fender

So I have done a bit more investigation but I can`t find the reason for this twitching when steering full left. The twitching is still there when I remove the wheels so it can be any rubbing action. Could it have to do anything with my new Emaxx servo? Note that the twitching get less if I reduce the steering angle (to the left)

Yes, turn down the dual rate. The servo wants to go more but can't. It is called a brown out. Make sure the servo is also trimmed out to 0 and rhat the linkage is centered |

No, it is not an end point issue I believe. Steering servo is centered when attaching the servoarm and it is not binding in any direction. The twitching starts from 70-100% throw (about 70% dual rate set) If reducing the dual rate to maybe 50% the twitching stops but then I have a VERY wide turning radius Last edited by waqr; 01-23-2020 at 08:45 AM. |

Go back to stock servo to confirm if emax servo is bad??? IF you have the Emax 09 digital version, this would be the second time Ive heard about them acting funny. I have two of the analog Emax 08 servos in 4WS for months now with zero issues. So I would swap servos back to confirm if it was me. |
