| Correct adapter (SCX24 battery)
Ok so the battery is PH2, I need this for my B6 charger right? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZCHLSYN...NsaWNrPXRydWU= I'd take one with just a single lead but this was all I could really find. Alternatively it could have a female Dean's on the one side if someone sees one cheap - I couldn't. Are there other good cheap sources outside Amazon and eBay? I know a lot of vendors sell them but they typically charge "real" shipping costs which makes it nonviable for a ~$5-10 item. Don't have the truck yet but trying to lineup everything. Anyone have a favorite battery? |

Yes, that will work, difficult to find the proper ends on a wire pigtail. There's some on Ebay that work but they are actually using the battery plug attached to the other end (which is actually for through-hole soldering onto pcb (printed circuit board) but will plug into the stock battery PH2 connector.) Search results at www.mouser.com for 2 position micro connector, there's a lot to go through.... https://www.mouser.com/_/?Keyword=2+...nector&FS=True I bought second stock lipo and with good peak charger get about 40 minutes crawl time per battery. Also bought some 300mah 2s lipos with three plugs but they need adapter plug that I've not made yet. Stock battery is easier and works well for me atm.

If you take the black outer cover off the plug for charging receiver packs the pins inside line up and fit perfectly. Most of the multi-plug pigtails have this plug on it already so you just need to modify it.

It WILL fit, but the pins are larger cross section and will expand the female metal ends of the battery plug and create poor connection (looseness). I was going to do this, took apart rx charge pigtail that I had, looked kinda big, measured and decided against this...not recommended. Use the proper size plug, just like the proper tool for the job. I bought 5 of these and soldered up my own pigtails. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Micro-...72.m2749.l2649

I just switched the plug out for JST (RCY) and made an adapter to go from JST (RCY) to PH 2.0 for the ESC side. These https://www.amainhobbies.com/protek-...k-5069/p703724 The PH 2.0 is a JST plug too but thats not the one I meant. I just figured out what the PH 2.0 stands for, pin header 2mm.
