I picked up betty yesterday as my first 24, so tyre rubbing annoyed me immediately, so I printed high clearance lower arms which moved wheels 1mm to the front and no rubbing. Today I’m trying to sketch some more upgrades in cad so i have fun for next week.

Hope to finish today and continue working with SCX24.
Ummm...what?!?! LoL. I didn't quite follow what you were trying to tell us. Aaaaand why would you use a pressure washer on a truck that weights 8 ounces?

Today I drove them till the batteries went low. Which is a crazy long time. Over an hour straight I think. The battery efficiency is amazing.

And now they are charging back up.

Im pretty sure the two were unrelated other than his time was spent repairing his pressure washer instead of working on his scx24 lol

Post back how well it goes. I'd be interested as well to have better low speed control.
So can I assume your using a different Tx/Rx then?

Added some CCHand inner fenders and rock sliders. Also got a new motor plate from Shapeways, going to put in a Barrage motor shortly.

What did I do to my SCX24 today? I ordered parts for a brushless conversion. Actually, parts for all 3 SCX24s, but I could only find one Castle Creations Sidewinder Micro2. Anyone have any for sale?
Surpass motor
Shapeways motor mount
Hot Racing pinion
Shapeways spur
Yes, I was bored waiting for other parts so I was watching youtube

Got that esc in. I would say it's worth it for 25 dollar esc. It is bulkier then what most people use. But more cheap and more available I think. But it definitely has some good low speed crawling and more controllable. Steering is alot stronger too.

Your tiny rig looks great!

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the 1060 ESC installed? I'm curious to see how you got it to fit in there.

Thanks

I thought the 1080 was mounted in the video, a few posts back? Maybe I assumed it was.

Ahhh nevermind. I'm mixing up which thread I was reading.

I literally just got everything kinda put away on it. Tried to make it as clean as I could.
