That is pretty cool, but I'd have to see how smooth the drivetrain is. As much as I like the Orlandoo kits, the drivetrain always bothered me with the jerkiness.

That's a mini I'd actually be interested in. If it went a little faster it'd be a nice u4 rig, but it looks like the motor wouldn't be up to the task of a little more speed.

The drop of water dangling from the skid at the 22 second mark shows just how tiny these really are.

You could possibly get the fastest geared n20 swap the motor out with one with a longer can like the tail rotor motors on a micro heli.

Yeah, they have several motors available. You'll be able to get plenty of wheel speed with one of the higher RPM N20s.

But would it have enough torque to make it a decent ‘scale’ micro rock bouncer.

My Jeep has plenty of power, but I used the lower RPM N20 (150).

They make N30s for these things, you just have to find them. tiny4x4 is sold out.

Ordered one, too - do have to (have all Orlandoos) ;)

Also ordered the 3000 rpm motor for it - do only have slower ones here.
We'll see how well it will bounce with this motor ;)

However, the rpm/kv/turn data are very puzzling in Orlandoo motors (as in many others, unfortunately).

The "other" motors were 80, 150, 200, 300...
And those (newer?) are 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm (after gear reduction).
But some information is missing: 3000 rpm at what voltage?

Finally I finished my Orlandoo Rock Bouncer build...

Had quite a lot of troubles with electronics (not Orlandoo-related).

Build video will come soon.

That is a short teaser video:

Here’s a video of it apparently with the 3000rpm motor in it

https://youtu.be/OHRtDgIfCqQ

I ordered the 3000rpm motor and once it gets here I’ll put it in my original Orlandoo and post a video.
