Default 1/20 Toyota Body

This seems to fit perfectly! Got to make some new cross members on ends of frame. Got some cool plans for this rig.

I'm interested in seeing how low you can get this body to sit. Do you think it's possible to get the bottom of the body even with the frame rail in the center?

Wheel base looks really good, hope you can get it down a bit.

It is a great fit for the SCX24

I ended up with this, I didnt want to adjust the wheelbase or use tiny tires

I have a build thread on this (page 3 is where I start on the Yota body) Whittling on a SCX24

The skid/belly is still 10-15mm below the bottom of the body and thats as low as I could go without major tire rub from the MT-R's. I also had to push the body back a bit to get the front axle forward so the tires clear while steering and cycling the suspension

Any major issues to get the body sitting low as far as battery and other electric components in the way? I'm very tempted on getting this body to drop on a second scx24

Yeah i dont think the battery will fit in the stock location. I have a front battery mount linked somewhere in that thread if you have a 3D printer.

So the battery is now up front and the ESC/receiver box sits between the frame rails.

I'll have to check it out and ready through it, I do have a friend with a 3d printer.

Thanks man. They are RGT wheels and tires I believe. They’re cheap and smaller than rc4wd. It does run slightly. I shaved as much as I could from the fenders to keep the shape.

Ahh, I don't mind a little rub but all my tires are 2" + right now lol I think I'm gonna get one in the next few weeks. It's one of the better looking body's that fit
