Default TomTom's Camp Crawler (SCX24 w/ mods)

What's up everyone! I've been lurking for a while and wanted to post my build thread, I'm starting to see some good stuff so I thought I'd share mine. I got back into RC when I had a knee injury about a year ago, although crawlers are new to me. I mostly use this now while out driving my 1:1 Tacoma and camping, so it's the Camp Crawler. I love seeing photos of these trucks, so be warned this will be very pic heavy.

This started as an Axial SCX24 Deadbolt. I had an RGT Adventurer before this and knew I wanted to keep the body. It ended up as such...

Wheels/Tires - Low rotating mass, wider, heavier, tires near stock size but stickier:
- Stock Rims
- RC4wd Wranglers
- Foams in Front Only
- Millstone Brass Spacers/Weights

Suspension - Full droop and max articulation:
- Stock w/ Resevoirs Removed
- Relocated F&R For Droop Setup (see photos)

Body - Good lookin' and functional:
- RGT Adventurer D90 w/ External Cage
- Custom Light Kit
- Custom Winch
- Axial Deadbolt F Bumper w/ Custom Stinger
- Axial Jeep R Bumper w/ Pivot

Drivetrain - Low CG weight, high clearance, more motor. Booyah:
- HR 13g F Diff Cover w/ Skid
- HR 9g R Diff Cover
- HR SS Center Skid (not in photos)
- Custom Bent High Clearance Links
- RGT 050 Motor

Steering - Bullet proof, high torque, responsive, added fwd weight, remove slop:
- HiTec HS65MG Servo
- O-rings

Notes - "Buzz, your girlfriend. Woof":
- The RGT motors pop very frequently. Order yourself 6 while you're at it so you have spares.
- Haven't tested the new HC links as I'm currently waiting on a new motor(s) to arrive. (see above)
- Planning to lower the front body another click and cut more ....maybe.
- On that note, current body is hacked due to many iterations. Hopefully a clean one with proper trimming soon.

**Bonus if you know where the driver and passenger came from. Hint: They're around 14 years old now.**
