Default SCX24 Knuckle weights

Optics (scale look) comes last... later.

Crawling capability comes first!

I'm working on weight distribution, shock setup, tires (foams, tire thread) and so on.
I made "kuckle weights" (not wheel weights), actually modified wheelweights with bearing) in order to have the weight right where I want it, while avoiding rotation mass!

Waiting for the overdrive gears to arrive, but these are the first results...

Sorry, I answer so late.

I used wheel weights, drilled 5mm holes and placed a bearing inside, which keeps the "wheel weight" from spinning. A little filing on the knuckle so that I can attach the weight to the knuckle with a tiny drop og glue.

I have trouble posting pictures. Will try again.

This is a more updated video...

Are you talking about the weights that are typically captured between the hex and wheel?
Can't quite picture what you're describing.

Same as RudyF6... I'm trying to picture what you've done. The running videos are cool and maybe helpful to someone but I'd rather see the actual mod(s) that you did to achieve the improved performance.

That’s impressive! I like your “performance first” approach. Good work, love the videos.

Thank you!

I've installed CVDs and needed to changed the shock setup... extreme steering angle... wow, crawls even better!

Looks to me like that little rig can take on terrain the big rigs would have trouble with .

Looking really good!

I'd love to see a running video.

I was the first to make knuckle weights on SCX24s. I made these long before they manufactured them for sale.
