Default SCX24 Bouncer Chassis Build w/ Big Motor

Here's my fast little bouncer build. Still a WIP as of creating this 01.12.21. This thing is hilariously fast. It jumps, crawls, and climbs. Pictures show the progress. Soon to be wider and heavier.

- RC4wd Scramblers w/ foam

Suspension:
- CR24 43mm Oil Shocks (40wt) w/ Stretched SC24 Springs
- 4 Linked F/R

Cage/Chassis:
- Shapeways GamyRC Fat Girl Bouncer Chassis (Modded)

Drivetrain:
- Shapeways GamyRC 130 Motor Mount
- PNRC 50T 130 Motor
- HR 4mm Extended Axles w/ 5g Brass
- HR 9g F Diff Cover
- HR SS Center Skid
- Long Links F/R

Steering:
- HiTec HS65MG Servo
- O-rings

Thank you! It's pretty silly to drive, the things it can do put a big grin on my face.

Unfortunately no, don't have any account to host video. Might try and figure something out if I have time this weekend though, it's impressive. Easily out-drove the Atlas 6x6 on the local mini course, and was surprising over the 1/10 rock too.

It got wider! Added +5mm brass extenders on top of the +4mm extended axles for almost 2cm total added width! The wheel weights are actually weighted wheel hex's that fit in between the hub bearing and the pin of the extended axle.

Added some RC4wd steel beadlocks well - Could always flip the hubs for more width, but that just isn't realistic at that point.

Hows the wear and tear on your worms with all that power? Break anything yet? Im tempted to get the gamy RC motor mount too. But worried I might burn my worm...

No worm burnin' here. It's held up surprisingly well, only broke a couple chassis bars that have been splinted/glued. No unusual play in the tranny or worms, and I'm definitely not nice to this thing. It's had one rear wheel locked in a hole and flip it back and forth smashing it trying to get out. I play on the 1/10 rocks with it every Friday at the local comp.

Also running stock spur and a bigger (but don't know, 14t/16t maybe) plastic pinion that have held up.

I did just get the Treal overdrive for the front as well, but it might go in the other scx24 scale truck, not sure yet.

Excellent. Thank you. This is for sure my next mod for my SCX24.

You're not wrong, this thing is silly. Been focusing on the 1:1 lately and this has been on the shelf. Although I have added the Treal overdrive in the front and it really helped the turning radius, I'll be doing it in my comp style scx24 as well....should probably make a build page for that now that I think of it.

Axle housings, rear axle gears, transmission, steering linkage, steering knuckles, stock links from various scx24's, ESC/RX electronics, and a modified stock servo mount.
