Scx24 rock bouncing

Currently waiting on a gamyrc bouncer chassis for my deadbolt. Would anybody near kc be interested in doing a 24th scale rock bouncing series? I can put an event together. Already drawing up rules and classes.

That sounds great. I would be very interested in seeing the proposed rules and classifications.
Most of the crawling events I have seen are either 'run whatcha brung' or have 3 classes:

1. Box Stock
2. Modified but still uses frame rails
3. All the rest of the whacked out stuff

Are you intending it to be just bouncers?

Oh, and you are not serious about competing unless you are running the Furitek ESC with a brushless motor. Unbelievable control for technical crawling.

Also, the way a run works:
You will start at the start gate and finish at the finish gate. Any gates between must be passed through in order. Touching a gate is no penalty, missing a gate is a dnf. You can circle back to a gate that you missed. You are allowed to back up with no penalty. Rollovers are no penalty but requiring the hand of god is a dnf. A dnf is the slowest finishing time plus ten seconds. Times from each hill are added together to form your total score. Lowest overall time wins. This is rock bouncing, so things are fast paced, and designed to provide good fun. Let me know if anything should be changed or modified on these rules.
