scx24 steering issue

hey everyone.
got a scx24 a week or so ago and everything was working great until today. the steering just stopped working. thought it might of been the servo so i un plugged the servo from the steering input and plugged into channel 2. afterwards the steering would move when i gave it gas so i know the servo is good. but now i wonder if its the reciever or transmitter. truck is pretty new and never been in any water or abused at all. at this point i only got maybe 10 runs on it.
i searched but couldnt find any threads on with the same issue. are the recievers or transmitters known ro go bad with these?

Just heads up, whether the motor is knocking on death's door, or the esc has pooped in the sheets...each one can also take out the other with it, be warned

Well i figured out the problem. I ended up taking the transmitter apart and noticed the wire connector going from the steering wheel to the board was loose. after i pushed it back in everything works fine.

Best advice if you have store receipt? Contact Horizon and they’ll get you replacements for free. Scx24 has 2 year warranty, says so on the box lol
