Default EazyRC 1/18 Glacier ( unlicensed K10 pickup)

Looks like another less expensive EazyRC version of an FMS/RocHobby body. This time alternative to the FMS licensed K10 discussed recently.

Body looks great and quite detailed. Buuuut... that's a lot of weight up very high. Not sure about the front steering/knuckles area (see pic).. looks like some of that could be pretty thin plastics. Track width looks narrow for crawling too.
Obvious high COG combined with a more obvious poor AOA (rear) indicates this will not be much good at crawling especially when comparing to the scx. I AM curious about the shocks and those copper tires and if they are any good ..and can be used on our scx. All that being said, the scale and look seem to be awesome and it might be a great shelf piece if nothing else, just my two cents lol, thanks for sharing!

It's more of a scale trail truck than a crawler, to be fair. It's basically a stripped down version of the FMS Chevrolet k10, both are the same axles suspensions and transmissions that have been around a bit In the other EazyRC and some FMS and seem to work well. The CVDS in these axles are pretty nice. The shocks are decent and can be modified to hold oil. Yes, We can use the wheels and tires as they are all the same 1.0" wheels with 7mm hex.

My SMS Chevrolet K10 should hopefully be here today I'll update with pictures of it when it does, even though it looks the same as this one haha

In the past the EazyRC version usually doesn't have an interior, gets plastic axle gears, and cheaper electronics with less features, but some models supposedly have either metal gears.

Here's the thread about the FMS licensed Chevrolet version. If you look around there should be a thread on each of the available models in this section of the website

These two pictures show off and the difference in the staring angle with the CVD axle shafts.
EazyRC Arizona unlicensed Jeep on the left with the CVD axles and plastic axle gears. (Comparable to the RocHobby Fire Horse)

FMS licensed FJ Cruiser center with CBD axles and metal gears. (Comparable to EazyRC Triton)
And on the right a normal dog bone axle. In this case it's the red Rock Hobby Katana V1 . The silver/gray V2 version is similar to the other trucks we are discussing and has the same axles
