Default Scx24 rx/esc says: bye bye (in a weird way?)

I have a c10 that’s been working nicely quite long. I upgraded the servo and motor before they broke, I’ve been modding more than driving until recently. Well, because winter has been here quite some time.

I’ve also been waiting for the furitek lizard pro to be in stores, but recently I have been waiting enough, so I decided to buy the tegu. My barrage motor has been driven a lot in the last 3 months.

This week the motor stopped working; I was actually a bit surprised. The motor hasn’t been too hot, the throttle setting has been on medium all the time.

I plugged in my original 030 motor, and it worked. Well, off to the store I went to buy a new barrage motor. It worked for like 2 seconds, then I started swearing because I thought the esc had burnt my new motor. Then I plugged in the old barrage and it worked for 2 seconds. That’s it. No more news after that on the motor front.

The steering servo has been working fine the whole time. Even the charger has been working very good the whole time. Probably because I use it with my mobile phone charger: 5watt 1 ampere. Charges sloooowlyyyy.

I don’t know how your esc/rx has quit. I think my went out quite oddly. Then again, I don’t know much about electronics.

Please write how your esc/rc told you “I’m over and out”. I’m interested and it’ll help other people too.

Edit: I’m only pi**ed at myself for not buying the tegu when the crawler was working because now I got a crawler that’s not working, and it’s winter. Well, the good thing is I got some things to mod and make better. Guess I’ll have to order the tegu and some other stuff tomorrow.

Thanks for the links. I bought the tegu from asiatees yesterday, because I also wanted the dodge power wagon body. I’ll get it here in a couple of days and only have to pay 15€ in shipping which is a steal! And finally 24% in taxes on everything before I get it.
