Default Took the plunge and got 2 24's

Well I did it, made the jump to the little 24's. I've had the itch for a last little while to get one. Even got one for the boy too. Somewhere down the line we'll upgrade them. Just don't know how much. I love the fact they little enough to take anywhere. But the thought of how small everything is to work on is driving me nuts. So see how that works out when the time comes. Hope I didn't make a mistake busy get 24's and should of just put that money to upgrades into existing trucks or 1/10th truck.

Congrats! I just bought my first one a month ago. Immediately tore it down and did a Warthog build and next up is a HR LCG build. They are a first hard to work on but soon you get used to it. Funny thing is that when you go back to the 1/10 rigs it feels weird because everything seems so big. lol

Congrats! You get used to working on them very quickly. Just make sure you have a 1.27mm, 1.3mm and 1.5mm hex drivers (the 1.27 generally covers all the stock hardware but I've found I need the 1.3 for some aftermarket screws for hop-ups). I spent like 2 months wrenching with just provided hex keys and my fingers hate me for it.

Interesting. I was not aware of theses sizes. Thanks. I guess I'll have to go check out the lbs later and pick something up.

Interesting, I only use 1.5mm and .05". I've found that a 1.3 doesn't fit anything on my 24's. Weird.
