Default Congratulations to Kevin and Dean

Congratulation's Kevin for your 5th place finish and Chris Dean for your 9th place finish at the 2.2 Midwest Indoor Challenge!
Two MNRCRCers in the top 10 Way to go guys
And those courses were tougher then the picture's showed, couple that, with most of the top drivers in the country, and you've got a tough competition.

Congratulations also Kevin on picking up the Eritex Inc sponsorship.

Thanks guys. It must have been the power of the cheerleading thread. I had a great time down there. I'll post up more pics in another thread, and I'm considering doing a write up for our website for the event too. But here's a pic of the top 5:

Left to Right: 1st place Auston Dunn (GateKeeper), 2nd Brad Dumont (Bender), 3rd Jason Gainey (H3RESQa), 4th Scott Cruz (CFR450R), 5th Yours truley.

I saw 2 guys running Badlands the majority was Losi Claws. The guys with Badlands told me they were ok, but had minimal time on them to see if they got better as the wore in. I was told by them also they had a heck of a side bite. No, I can't remember who they were to ask them dierctly. I wasn't upset running Claws.

I was running Claws with Kreepys. Red Kreepys in the front and pink in the rear, all untrimmed. Sidehilling was great, I was 1 of a very few who made though the off-camber section without falling. But I couldn't grip that 'blob' very well.

Here's some close-ups of the body. Paul from R/C Car Kings (farakai here) painted it. I was a constant annoyance until it was done.

Congrats on the top five finish. It was good to meet you guys. I can't wait to make it to a couple of your comps. How about a couple of shots without the body on so we can get an idea of your setup.

Oh, you want to know my secrets huh?

I'm gonna be starting a (post)build up thread soon. But here's a quick naked pic. This was taken during my testing. The only change from this pic to what I ran was the esc. I tested the Mamba Max, but ran the Quark 33.
