| Are your trucks ready for the new season?
Here is a list of things I still need to do before the new season starts.... 2.2 Comp TLT
2.2 Comp Axial
Juggernaut (Super rig) is ready to rock, I might add some weight to the wheels. Both my scalers need a lot of work right now, to many things to list. I hope to get the Jeep back in action by the end of the month. |

I noticed a couple of screws stripping, not completely stripped in my aluminum R2D tranny. These need to be repaired, probably a new case. I'm dealing with that today. I have Badlands and Hammers to mount as well as a set of Rock Claws on Mayhem Comp Double Phattys this is for testing and variety. (I have a set of Claws already mounted on Top Guns) I have to put a small tool kit of basic tools together and organize my track box. I have to slap Greg (Driver) around so he knows who's in charge. |

Ohh I should rebuild the shocks on my TLT gopher too.... They still leak 80wt oil, which is bad.

Well my truck is new (AX 10)so it should be ready. I have done alot of mods to it and havn't even touched a rock with it yet. Am I nut's? So far I have done the Boss setup (links to the inside, shocks out), TCS four link set up front and rear, TCS internal springs (Soft), outer springs (green) medium, TCS aluminum axle battery mounts, Solder wrap on the inside of the front rims, Trinity Foams 3 stage foams trimed, and TCS high clearence links. For electronics I have the Novak Goat, 18.5 sintered system, Futaba 3PM 2.4 GHZ radio and receiver, and HiTec HS 645MG servo... Do I need anything else I have two battery packs. Will that be enough Ps, I hope the snow goes the heck away Jeff Last edited by SFC K; 03-21-2008 at 09:39 PM. |

2 packs should be plenty. We normally only run 2 courses, and with the amount of new members there should be plenty of time to peak a pack between runs...... If your running sub"C" packs 2 will work no prob. I am only planning on 2 - 2/3A 1500 packs for the comp rig. It takes about 45-60 min to charge from dead...........

I'm running the same packs as you. 1, seven cell, and 1 six cell, 2/3 amp 1500NiMH split packs from TCS. I'm not sure what the run time is for them...What are using to charge your batt's out there?

Ready for comp season? yeah right! I still have to install the dig, when it comes, aluminum knuckles and C's, new ESC, then I'm close to ready. Scalers are coming along. Super needs a front axle rebuild. High lift is getting a rebuild now. Joe's new comp rig he finished last night. Yeah, I'll be ready Last edited by freetimecrawler; 03-22-2008 at 10:33 AM. |

Waiting on a novak 21.5 brushless motor and my first lypo battery to get here next week. I along with what seems like a couple hundred other guys in the cities just picked up a AX 10. The 2.2 class should be hugh this year.
