| Beer and Boobs!!! ...but first we need to talk some business. A couple things to keep in mind. We are guests at Interstate Park. We are on good standings with the park and the rangers. We would like to keep it that way. To stay on their good side, we should lay down some basic guidelines. -Be considerate of others. We will have a lot of people out there, but we're not the only ones. There will be just as many people visiting the park for their enjoyment too. Let's not get in their way. -Keep your tools and other extra stuff at your car/truck. This will minimize clutter and help keep from getting in others' way. We will have a club cooler at the base of the first hill for everyone to put drinks/food in. -Keep the area clean. There is a dumpster in the parking lot. Please don't litter. -No nitros. Nitros are irratating to the average non-R/C person. This goes back to #1.(see above) -If you run an AM or FM radio, please keep in mind that someone else may need to use your channel. On our sign up sheets we will ask for everyone's channel/frequency. Please list what you are using, and see if anyone else is using that one too. If possible bring multiple crystals. We haven't had any problems, and I don't think we will. I'm just asking for everyone's help, and to make sure we are all on the same page. Thanks in advance. Now, as promised... Beer and Boobs!!! |

WTH! You post on my 2 favorite things and then disappoint me with Hannah Montana in the second pic! On subject though, we need to keep Parking lot activity down to very low roar also.. I think a mini-meeting after sign up would be smart move also Spek (all rigs) |

For the 27mhz channels, list your channel number as shown in the colored bands, or the xmod channels. |

Very appropriate considering the pure number of new people and all of the old guys. The radio thing should be like any other RC event if your not on your running your course (and your not spectrum technology) there should be no frequency radios on period. The other thing I noticed last year was noise people trash talking and yelling at each other from distances. The other guests are there to see nature not listen to a wild bunch of guys trash talking and yelling each other from accross the parking lot. I wouldn't take many complaints from other guests to wear out our welcome. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ranger asks us to take the parking spaces on the far end of the lot before long either. It might be something we do on our own to show respect to the park and it's other guests. |
