| MNRCRC Spring/Summer Series Comp #2 Thats right boy's and girl's Comp #2 in the MNRCRC Spring/Summer series is whats up next! (And I know at least One guy thats excited about it ) When: Sunday April 27th 2008 Where: Taylors Falls Mn What time: Sign-in, Drivers meeting and tech inspection starts at 9:00am sharp. Course building at 9:30 First truck through the gates at 10:00am sharp Directions, and Pic's of the comp area can be seen here: www.MN-RCRC.com I feel this is worth reposting: A couple of suggestions if I may add; (reposted from the VARCOR thread) "All attending PLEASE review the USRCCA rules found here: 2008: USRCCA Official Rules Info This will help in understanding what you can and can't do personally. This will also help in having the ability for more people to judge. We may find ourselves easily running 2-4 vehicles at a time (various portions of a course, different class, different course, etc), and with two judges needed per running vehicle ............this adds up. I think it would be most helpful if all attending had the ability to judge if needed". Also, a couple of notes for any new people attending. MNRCRC competitions are held in a MN State Park, as such, a park parking permit is required, since we crawl at Interstate State Park often, (Taylors Falls) it's more economical to purchase a yearly sticker, good for all MN State Parks. Daily stickers are also available. A note to all attending! With the possible larger numbers for the MNRCRC competitions this season, we're going to have to be even more conscientious of our surroundings. I would like to suggest since we are guests in the Park, like so many others, there to enjoy the surroundings, that everyone pit back at their car/truck, and bring only the truck/s if you run 2 classes, and your radio, and any tools you can carry on person. This should help unclutter the area for other visitors, and hopefully, help keep us from getting kicked out. Along with the club gear bag, we'll have an iced cooler for anyone that has refreshments. We'll be counting on everyones cooperation for this. Hope to see you there! As always, good luck to all competitors __________________ Last edited by freetimecrawler; 04-21-2008 at 08:50 PM. |

| i currently have no way there on sunday, so if you make it you win. So can anybody give me a ride to the comp? if anybody can head up highway 65, i am a 2 mile detour from 65, and it is 36 miles from my house to taylors falls. i would be willing to pitch in for gas, maybe even willing to pay for the gas used from my house, to taylors falls, and back. i live in isanti. i would highly appreciate it if someone could help me out.
