| Results Thanks to everyone that came out. Another big thanks goes out to everyone that helped out today. I appreciate it guys. The weather gods were on our side today. It started out a little cold, but warmed up real quick, and then cooled down late afternoon again. But it was perfect when we were running. We got off to a slow start, but once we got to the 2.2 class we fell right into our groove. Thanks to everyone for bearing with us. A lot of great runs today. There's a lot of talent out there this year. Some new faces making their names known too. Who was that masked man? Thanks for getting the results up. I had a really good time today. First course wasn't too kind to me but got the blood pumping when I almost put my bug over the cliff. The second course was much better only had 1 major mistake that kept me out of the neg for that run. With the great comp. this year in the 2.2 class I don't think it will take to long for the top 10 to all be in the neg for one of the comps |

Thanks for the pictures Josh Man is there is good battles at the top right now in the points of both classes. Every time I see picturers of Taylors Falls I think of how lucky we are to have such a great crawl spot. I think it would be nice if there was something we could do as a club to give something back. Like offer to do a clean up day or something like that. I know RC people have a hard time getting beyond their toys but I think we have a lot to loose if we can't use this site. When I look at where other clubs are crawling I hope we all appreciate what we have at this park and remember how few other good spots there are. Slugz of the "Crawlerado Gang" said that Taylors was better than most Colorado spots as they are not allowed in any State Parks in Colorado (friggin tree huggers) Just a thought......Storm' |

Full gallery can be found at http://www.turtlecrawler.com/comps/04-27-08 Love how you did up your body Charlie, looks great My Friend Erik running the course at full speed as usual, we built up this tuber for him Saturday afternoon in 6 hours or so. Almost time for a new paint job Joe And this was pretty much the end of Eriks run, he did make this gate, but pointed out a couple gates later. He snapped the front right axle shaft in the first gate. After the comp was finished, we went back to the truck and replaced it. It was the end of the day, and he didn't care enough to take the repair penalty. And this is what led to Ryans first roll with his new CR01 |

Same Erik, got him to try something different. He really liked how cool it looked, so he went with the change Need to get some more weight in the rims, and maybe lower it some.
