DNR to offer free admission to state parks on June 1

We have a comp scheduled for that day, not sure how compatible we will be with their vision:

Many of the 72 parks and recreation areas will have special events during the open house.

With the theme "Great Minnesota Picnic," Nelson invites "everyone to bring a picnic lunch and come to any state park or recreation area to enjoy a day of old-fashioned fun."

Thanks for the head up Indy. I'm hoping this won't be an issue for us other than more people at the park. Maybe people will think we're one of those special events.:-P
