Default MNRCRC Spring/Summer Series comp #4

MNRCRC Spring/Summer Series comp #4

When: Sunday June 1st 2008

Where: Taylors Falls Mn

What time: Sign-in, Drivers meeting and tech inspection starts at 9:00am sharp. Course building at 9:30
First truck through the gates at 10:00am sharp

Directions, and Pic's of the comp area can be seen here: www.MN-RCRC.com

I feel this is worth reposting:

A couple of suggestions if I may add; (reposted from the VARCOR thread)

"All attending PLEASE review the USRCCA rules found here: 2008: USRCCA Official Rules Info This will help in understanding what you can and can't do personally. This will also help in having the ability for more people to judge. We may find ourselves easily running 2-4 vehicles at a time (various portions of a course, different class, different course, etc), and with two judges needed per running vehicle ............this adds up. I think it would be most helpful if all attending had the ability to judge if needed".

Also, a couple of notes for any new people attending.
MNRCRC competitions are held in a MN State Park, as such, a park parking permit is required, since we crawl at Interstate State Park often, (Taylors Falls) it's more economical to purchase a yearly sticker, good for all MN State Parks. Daily stickers are also available.

A note to all attending!
With the possible larger numbers for the MNRCRC competitions this season, we're going to have to be even more conscientious of our surroundings.
I would like to suggest since we are guests in the Park, like so many others, there to enjoy the surroundings, that everyone pit back at their car/truck, and bring only the truck/s if you run 2 classes, and your radio, and any tools you can carry on person. This should help unclutter the area for other visitors, and hopefully, help keep us from getting kicked out. Along with the club gear bag, we'll have an iced cooler for anyone that has refreshments.
We'll be counting on everyones cooperation for this.

Hope to see you there!
As always, good luck to all competitors

I actually looked at the calendar wrong Stormin.
The comp following this One on the 8th is closer to MNRCRC's Anniversary of our very First comp, which was June 10th 2006.

Oh great I'm bringing bail money. How silly I was thinking the new Panther tires would be a good advantage. You younger vets seem to have some deeply rooted problems.

I'm ready but I still need a ride from Duluth to Taylors Falls. If there's anyone intrested in letting me hitch a ride I'll pay half the gas and buy lunch.

Where can I sign up for the entire year??? The only reason I would miss a comp, is if I end up going wheeling the same as weekend of one

It has been decided to base our running order off of the standings. I will have the scoresheets ready by the time we get to the park. this will save us a lot of time. Here is the running orders for Comp 4. The blank spaces in the middle is where the orders repeat. There will be space there for first timers.

I'll be there on Saturday for practice, and I might camp at the park that night or stay at my buddies house. I'll be at the comp for sure.

The only reason I would miss a comp is if the weather was uncomfortable (rule #1 it must be comfortable) or if Mike was off wheeling the big trucks because then there world be no really good pictures and I like pictures of my rig.

Hey Joe now that you have that new fancy case with your name on it you better practice because in crawling a guy with a case like that is either the winner or gay. I know my bad.
