Seriously, we need to vote on our next meeting date. I put up a pole for all the sundays between now and when we start the season except for the weekend of the Omaha comp and the weekend of Easter.

I haven't talked to Ken about it, but if he's ok with us using the Mermaid again, the next pulling events are on March 1st, March 22nd, and April 5th.

Jay also suggested having the meeting before the Omaha comp so we can use the time to also discuss plans for that comp.

Agenda for the meeting. Please post up other topics you would like to discuss. These are just a few ideas off the top of my head.
  • 2009 Rules update
  • 2009 Nationals invite process update
  • Judges meeting
  • How to promote Supers
  • Possible alternative comp locations?
  • Judge the person after you
  • Club Sponsors/prizes/cash payback
  • Club treasury discussion
  • Club website help

this is just an idea but what does everyone think of after your run you time or judge the person after your run to promote learning judging and timing for people that are not very sure of how to do so and if they need help maybe another could help them through it a few times that way were not always asking for judges and timers. it's just a thought

Good idea in theory, just hard to have consistency in scoring then. Will save more comments for the meeting.

I think on March 1st the pullers are having a little "larger" of a comp. I think they are having trophies and showing of crawlers ($.05pimp would know) and drag racers. May be better exposure.

Did you intend for it to make sense backwards, or did it just happen?
