| Taylors Spring Cleaning
We've discussed it before. Are people interested in getting together 1 day to clean up litter at Taylors? When would people like to do this?

Earth day is on April 22nd, a Wednesday. Our first comp is on the 19th, the Sunday before Earth day. I would say lets do it on the 18th or 26th of April.

I'm very pleased to see we are making a effort to thank the Park for their support of the MNRCRC this is fantastic. |

| I could understand if people don't want to drive up 2 days in a row (18th & 19th). But that is my 4 day weekend, so I wouldn't be opposed to it. I was originally thinking the weekend before, but that's Easter Sunday. I will give till later tonight before I put up a poll to see if anyone else proposes a date.

2 days in a row would work for me. I wouldn't want to try doing it any sooner since they might not open the gates to the parking lot that early. Last year we had to send someone to the campgrounds to have a park ranger openit up for us. Maybe to add insentive to help, could give those who help clean a extra raffle ticket at the end of the season. Could do the ame with judging as well? |

| Sorry, I thought everyone was aware of what we were doing. We are looking to give back to Interstate Park in appreciation for them letting us use the park for our crawling events. The rangers there have been great. This is our home turf and only comp location. We would like to give back to the park to help ensure we stay on good terms. This is not a requirement, we are taking the initiative. We are looking to spend part of a day at Interstate Park picking up trash/litter to show our thanks. I will supply trash bags. We are looking for volunteers to help with this clean up. I don't expect there to be a lot of trash to pick up since the park is kept pretty clean. We'd maybe spend an hour or two of picking up trash. Bring your cralwers. After the clean up we plan on running our rigs. We could probably even setup a few mock courses for practice. We don't want this to just be work, want to have fun too. |
