Default MNRCRC Comp #4

When: Sunday May 31st 2009

Where: Taylors Falls Mn

What time: Sign-in, Drivers meeting and tech inspection starts at 9:00am sharp. Course building at 9:30
First truck through the gates at 10:00am sharp.
3 classes, Super, 2.2, and 1.9

Directions, and Pic's of the comp area can be seen here: www.MN-RCRC.com

A couple of notes for any new people attending.
MNRCRC competitions are held in a MN State Park, as such, a park parking permit is required, since we crawl at Interstate State Park often, (Taylors Falls) it's more economical to purchase a yearly sticker, good for all MN State Parks. Daily stickers are also available.

A note to all attending! New this year are running fees/club dues of $20 per year, or $2.00 per comp, due at the Start of the season, or at each comp. Also,
With the possible larger numbers for the MNRCRC competitions this season, we're going to have to be even more conscientious of our surroundings.
I would like to suggest since we are guests in the Park, like so many others, there to enjoy the surroundings, that everyone pit back at their car/truck, and bring only the truck/s if you run 2 classes, and your radio, and any tools you can carry on person. This should help unclutter the area for other visitors, and hopefully, help keep us from getting kicked out. Along with the club gear bag, we'll have an iced cooler for anyone that has refreshments.
We'll be counting on everyones cooperation for this.

Hope to see you there!
As always, good luck to all competitors

I think I'll refrain from assisting in setting up the 1.9 course for this comp. I'm starting to not like myself very much

Looks like we may get a little moist on Sunday.

Yes sir.

With the number of judges we currently have, it works out to be basically every other comp. As more people step up, the frequency will go down.

Default Judgeing

This week if someone wants to let me watch and learn. I 'll judge soon.
I can do the spoting and the clock, not real quick at math ,but have very good eyes. Just a thought, I'm in this for the long haul so I might as well learn.

Just wondering, if it does rain on Sunday morning, is the event still run, or moved to another day? It looks like it might hold off until 1pm, but you know MN weather...

Not sure. We didn't have to really deal with bad weather last year. I myself would say run it

I really hope this new truck brings some more shaft trucks back to 2.2.

I can already see it. The Losi will do well and everybody will just have to have one of them and sell off their Bergs. Its a never ending process.

I'm very interested in the Lois chassis but I'll watch them for awhile first. Greg is a hard driving guy and we're going to need some spares and I'm not sure when that supply chain gets set up.

I hope Greg gets a chance to test drive one I like the new Bulley axles as well. But for now our rig a 2007 TLT shafty is still better than we are at driving it to it's maximum so no need to change anything just yet. ;)

I too have the Losi...as for being built. Haha, Dean's not done with his own yet. Maybe he will build them both at the same time? Hey Dean!
