| MNRCRC's Dam Comp
Comp #5 in our Spring/Summer series will be held at When: Scaler GTG Sat June 13th, Comp Sunday June 14th 2009 Where: Carlton Mn (watch for links to be posted) What time: Sign-in, Drivers meeting and tech inspection starts at 9:00am sharp. Course building at 9:30 First truck through the gates at 10:00am sharp. 3 classes. Super, 2.2, and 1.9 A note to all attending! New this year are running fees/club dues of $20 per year, or $2.00 per comp, due at the Start of the season, or at each comp. Also, With the possible larger numbers for the MNRCRC competitions this season, we're going to have to be even more conscientious of our surroundings. I would like to suggest since we are guests in the Park, like so many others, there to enjoy the surroundings, that everyone pit back at their car/truck, and bring only the truck/s if you run 2 classes, and your radio, and any tools you can carry on person. This should help unclutter the area for other visitors, and hopefully, help keep us from getting kicked out. Along with the club gear bag, we'll have an iced cooler for anyone that has refreshments. We'll be counting on everyones cooperation for this. Special note for comp #5 This comp is held in a beautiful Spruce/Cedar Forrest. You'll definitely want to bring mosquito spray Hope to see you there! As always, good luck to all competitors Last edited by freetimecrawler; 06-03-2009 at 10:33 PM. |

| Dam Comp Directions Directions to the Dam Comp: From the South: Take I35 north to Hwy 210. Head east on Hwy 210 for about 4 or 5 miles. You will pass through Carlton. After Carlton you will cross a bridge and see the Thomson Dam on your left. Immediately after the bridge there's a parking lot on the left hand side. Park in this lot. The crawling spot is within walking distance just across the street. From the North: Take I35 south to Hwy 45. Head south on Hwy 45 until Hwy 210. Take Hwy 210 east. You will cross a bridge and see the Thomson Dam on your left. Immediately after the bridge there's a parking lot on the left hand side. Park in this lot. The crawling spot is within walking distance just across the street. Click Here for a google map with the destination inserted. |

| car pool from North Branch
If anyone wants to ride up with me I can meet them in north branch, It is a smoking environment, non-smokers need not apply ( J/K ) just don't complain. I have a small car but it is a 4 door and can fit 3 or 4 people easy. I will be going up sunday only and will leave North Branch about 7:00-7:15 or so. Let me know if interested Tom |

I haven't planned that far yet, probably be leaving around 10am. Scale 1.9 comp should happen, as long as we get enough people that want to do it. |

Joe are you talking about a can of "whoop ass" for Baller or doing something "obscene"? Sorry but it's just difficult to know what to expect when a guy is known to occasionally wear a Miss Kitty backpack. |

Gonna be a fun weekend! If anyone has a 13t or smaller 48p pinion they could sell I'd really appreciate it. There hard to come by locally. Thanks |
