Default MNRCRC 2009 Fall Series Finals Pics & Results

Well, the rain held off enough to finish the comp and closing ceremonies. Aside from the weather, it was yet another great day (and another great year!) at Taylors.

I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to our events this year, and in years past that have helped make this a great group to crawl with.

Also, let me thank everyone that has helped out with putting on these events. It takes a lot of effort to put on these series', and it couldn't happen without everyone's help.

And of course, thanks to our sponsors, who provided a ton of great prizes for us to hand out to you guys.

(and thanks to TommyGunn for his donation too)

I know I saw a few cameras out there. Let's see those pics guys.

Had a blast this year and cant wait to beat up on the MOA rigs next year. (or whatever new thing comes out that all the sheep will jump on)

Looks like I may be taking a baby step out of the old school during the off season and making the jump to lipo. My rig was acting stupid today and my 2 comp old nimh pack is already toast.

Default Let me be the first to say....

THANKS....... to everyone involved with the club and the spectators that were not, this was my first yr, and had a blast. I'M HOOKED FOR SURE.
The members in this club make it fun and hard to wait for the next comp, even when they were 2 weeks apart. ( going to have withdrawls for sure this winter)
A special thanks to TJB for holding back today to let me tie him in the scores, thats what makes a newbie feel good

heres a couple pics I took at the finals...

This one pimp actually had the tree stuck in tread and was pulling up the tree...

You're welcome Tom, glad I could be there for moral support

I had a blast this year (both times I ran that is) :-P

With the advent of future sponsoring, I hope next year will allow more running for me than this year..

Thanks to the two club Team SLG driver's also

Great season we had a ton of good times with the MNRCRC a truly fantastic group of people. We did get side tracked big time with a house renovation project and could not compete in the fall season but we are already looking forward to next year.

Default Good times!

First season running was very fun. Learned a ton and hopefully going to settle my driving down and do better next year. Here are some pictures I got from the last comp.

I still wheel every weekend next to the lake so If you want to crawl let me know. It stays warmer by the lake for next month and the rocks are pretty clear much of the winter. I plan on doing some scaler runs in the snow.

Thanks for letting the Duluth boys join in the fun.

In the 2.2 class, Gary's score is incorrect on the lower course. He finished 7 gates, so that would put him at a 33 on that course. I probably wrote it wrong on the score sheet (I was the judge). Not that it makes too much difference, but would move him to 2nd place for the day.

Thanks Casey, I rushed through the scores this time. Normally I double check every single sheet to make sure I get the correct score entered.
