| MNRCRC Sportsman Class Poll
I want to see how many MNRCRC guys would run the sportsman class if we offered it. We need to see how much interest there is before we spend too much time determining what rules we would use. Keep in mind a couple of things: -You would not be able to qualify for Nationals -Sportsman class is ideally intended to be for new guys to get started in until their ready for the pro class, or for those wanting to compete with lesser skilled drivers -dig would not be allowed -We'd most likely share part of the pro course, so no one could run both classes -You should not be in sportsman if: -you have been placed in at least the top 5 of any of our series' -If you've competed in a pro class of any regional/national event I'll leave this poll up till next sunday. Please choose what class you would run in-either Pro or Sportsman. |

I voted pro, but if the #'s are real low I might go SP. I might stand a chance of a podeum finish....lol I'll just put the creeper back together, after I finally got dig...that figures. |

i would like to run the sportsman as i havnt crawled at all yet. The only issue i could see for me would be the rig restrictions as i bought a RS10 which is MOA and has rear steer both of which have been mentioned as no gos in some comps.

I'm sure locally we could agree to let the duratrax cc and redcat run with NO rear steer. Just expect the bump up if there's any clear advantage |

I voted Sportsman but in reality Greg would run Pro and Dana/Brawley (Gregs wife/son) would run in the Sportsman class. This poll will give us a idea about the interest for this proposed class I'm curious to see if it has any support among our membership. |
