First Duluth Scaler and 2.2 comp Event

Stay tuned for where we will meet. I am not sure if the park is open. If it is not we will meet right on skyline. Just drive a round Enger...the road winds around so you have goo views of Duluth. So if the gate is up to the park meet at the overlook right on skyline. Thanks

Hope to see some new scalers and crawlers.

9-10am BS and show and shine
10 am Enger Scaler Rally
11:30 set up 2.2 courses
Noon 2.2 Comps

Your lucky, my buddy ordered some too, paid for extra shipping to get them by today and rc4wd sent the wrong ones. I also had some wheels and tires on order, hoping they would show today but they did not.

Anyone got a set of 1.9 wheels and tires I could use tomorrow? I will show regardless with my buddy but I only have 2.2's. "thumbsup"

Can't wait to meet some new people and check out a couple new spots hopefully.

I got the lox mounted and on the truck, but didn't have time to weight them so I might run the flatirons, will decide in the morning, or I might get up early and weight the lox.

My truck is down. I need one trans bearing, Losi part # A6943 10x15mm. It's the large one on the drive shaft output.

Anyone know when hobbytown opens?

djjiz 04-10-2010 07:44 AM

Hobbyclown is open at ten.. I might be running a little late.

Weather was awesome, had a blast and can't wait for next month. Thanks for putting on a good time. Pics look great too but don't do justice for how nice it really was outside. "thumbsup"

Thanks for driving your trucks so hard! Missing parts made me a huge fan of scalers.

You guys make it to the shore?

Nah, we planned on it. Kwapi showed us where it was, then we headed down for some lunch and to see the aquarium with intentions of going back but we ended up heading up to Enger again it was so fun. We'll get a chance to see the shore on the next trip.

I need another comp crawler for sure, but you gonna get a scaler for the next event?

djjiz 04-11-2010 10:30 PM

No scaler for me. Gotta focus on the 1/1 truck and supporting my comp habit this summer.

Well.. Maybe by mid summer. "thumbsup"

kwapi 04-12-2010 11:03 AM

Get a truck!!!!
