Default Nationals - Are you going???

So I hear rumors of undecided people and their possible attendence for the World Series of RC Crawling. Nationals!!!

First things first. IF you qualified and are NOT making it, you OWE it to the next in line AND the MNRCRC crew to make a decision!! NOW!!!

Second. You NEED to make a plan. Where you are staying, how you are getting there, and when you want to go and return.

My plans are to leave Wednesday September 8th after work. I will be returning on Monday September 13th. I believe Sarge (Dean) and Kevin are riding with me. Dean and I are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Vinita. Kevin isn't 100% sure yet. I called last week and the rooms are ALMOST all gone. The camping at Hogans is basically ground zero for the event, so it is a great option if rooms are hard to come by.

I wasn't joking around at out finals. This IS a world class event and location. It isn't Moab, but it will work out. I have been to Disney 2 or 3 times now...and I would NOT miss this event.

Who needs a ride?

Who needs a room/camping spot?

When are you leaving/returning?

I will make up some new Tshirts if you guys want to support the MNRCRC crew?? Post up your ideas and thoughts. I would love to see you all there, but understand if you can't make a plan too.

I am in for a support shirt or two.
I like the classic MNRCRC crumbled letter style T-shirt, maybe light gray.
white is not good for me, and black is too....RCC.

XXL

Good luck to all that attend and have fun, maybe next yr I'll have the funds to make a trip down there.
The pics and info on the place sound and looks ver fun.

Jizzzzzzz, is out? Come on? Irok22's and WildBill are always down for some good fun? Car pool, sharing a room, bring a cooler (food and beverage)...those things all save $. Come on guys, work on it. Time off or budget? How bad do you really wanna go? Remember this...Nationals is now trying to be a traveling event, it might not be THIS close next year.

As for the shirts I will look into a redesign or similar look...

As Ryan said before, this is going to be a traveling comp in the future, it may not be this close next year...

I have a spare berg for anyone who's excuse is a rig. Better yet bring all the scalers you got. It's worth the trip for new adventures and friends alone.

WildBill is for sure out. X games is the same weekend.

So I've got a rig, black eye, hockey puck, and a paddle incase I go to shit creek. Not a bad start.

Since I'm in a charitable mood I'll throw in a bag of chips and a bottle of water, so you can cross food off your list as well.

I figured I could lick the salt off my arm and kill two birds but chips would be nice.

I have two hens, but not sure if french or sweedish. But they would be good on the grill none the less...

I got a small cage for them, just throw them in Ballers truck for the ride down

X-Fest is Labor Day weekend. Nationals are the following weekend: Sept 9th through the 12th.

I can donate a nudie mag and 2 pairs of black socks. Ask Gary what the second pair is for.

Hens are hens.. I act like I'm picky but I'll eat anything.

Well.. Bill and I are very interested now that the weekend is clear for him. Any way of a ride share? Guesstimated cost for camping and round trip?
