| Riverside Park ~ Minneapolis
Hey guys. My mom had a lung transplant last Thursday and will be at the U of M Medical Center for three months. I'll be going out to visit and I was just wondering if there are any spots to crawl since I'll be right down there by the river. Thanks. |

Down by the river there are more scaler than comp locations. Comp quality rock in the cities is a little difficult to come by. Plenty of quality scaler places though.

Thanks. My scaler isn't done yet, so I'll leave the comp'er at home this trip. Probably take a walk down and check out the park, though.

The closest comp worthy location is in Taylors Falls, MN at Interstate Park. It's about an hour north of Minneapolis. If you can make the hour drive it's well worth it. Great location for comp rigs or scalers. Sorry to hear your mom is in the hospital. The UofM has a great medical program. I'm sure your mom is in good hands. |

Don't think I can get away for that long on this trip but maybe next time. I'll check the park out this trip and try and have a scaler done incase I come out again before she goes home. Thanks for the info guys.
