if i made this link: new idea for rescue truck
would this be cool to have at a scale gtg, to pull trucks out of sticky situations?
just trying to figure out if i made this could i put it to good use?

I made a rescue truck a few years ago, and it was more fun to use it to make videos. Most scalers now days have winchs, so I doubt it's something that would be greatly needed. That said, if it's something you want to build, don't let that stop you. I saw Jerry posted a link and pic of his DMG rescue rig, I've always thought that was a cool truck.
If you decide to build it, I would think about using a transmission for the boom winch like the DMG truck, for strength, and maybe servos for raising the boom.
