plenty of 1.9ers, dad wont be solo on comp day. He can also run the 2.2 with your truck too, rules do allow for 2 competitors with one truck.

minnesotamudder 04-05-2011 08:57 PM

3.10 - Vehicle Sharing is allowed. No more than two drivers can share the same vehicle. Drivers sharing a vehicle must
notify event organizers during Tech Inspection or Check In. Event organizers or Marshals may make any changes to the
running order of the drivers sharing a vehicle they deem necessary.

sweet

Maybe the 1.9s will have a good turn out this season. Guess we will see. Just so everyone knows, we have to have atleast 3 competitors to be an official comp. I know I will make it to every comp this season. So my dad and myself will make 2 as long as one more shows up we are good to go. "thumbsup"

I believe we talked about this at the meeting. I could be wrong tho. I think it was agreed that people sharing a rig will not be allowed to run back to back. Now if it wasnt talked about. I feel this is the best way to keep it fair as possible.

minnesotamudder 04-06-2011 08:21 PM

that sounds good to me. i dont really care when i run(just as long as i get to run"thumbsup").
i hope to see u guys on the rocks:mrgreen:

I'm in with the 1.9 group as well. My VW body finally got retired in favor of a rock racer body.

But is it a racer??? Or still a slow bug in disguise?:lmao:

Max2884 04-14-2011 06:22 AM

Oh yea, its still bug slow. Heck I was just getting use to it at the end of the season last year.

I learned along time ago, I don't handle speed very well. I tend to do dumb things.

Yep, I've seen him race.

TomEGunn 04-14-2011 08:15 PM

now this yr you only have 5 min.

Max2884 04-15-2011 05:14 AM

So... rather then making it half way through the course, ill only get a quarter of the way before I time out.

Oh well, 5 mins just means 1 min less of me standing there looking at my truck wondering why the F it got on its roof and what to do about, besides swearing at it and demanding that it roll itself back over.

I might have mentioned this before, but my crawler spends more time on its back then my wife does. Just saying...

...and possibly a snow shovel.

Snipervision 04-15-2011 06:01 PM

My son Josh & I will be there for the 1.9 class. My ultimate 1.9'r is still in parts though. It should be ready in 2 weeks. We will both be running my sons rig unless the sun and moon align between now & Sunday."thumbsup"

P.S. The 2.2 class is for those that need dig to get through the course. Us 1.9'rs only need 2 channels to get'r done.:flipoff:

Snipervision 04-16-2011 10:34 PM

Blew the front diff tonight on Josh's truck lucky I had my metal upgrades for my truck (not installed yet) & we are back up & running. Added droop to the front & regular for rear. Thought we would try something new. I hope it's not to cold tomorrow. "thumbsup"
