Default question about how many trucks you can run?

ok so i know that shaftys and moas run at the same time, but are scored seperatly, so is it possible to run a shafty and a moa in the same comp? just asking becuse i might get an xr10(key word might) and was wondering if i got it would i have to let my dad use my lcc or can i use both?

You must finish the comp with the truck you start with, moa and shafty are not scored separate it is simply noted for statistics. got you hooked on an XR huh

I think I know what your asking....
And the answer is No
3.4 - No pre-running courses: Drivers that pre-run a course will receive a DNS (50pt) for that course.
And I believe that if you were to run your shafty before you run your MOA that would be considered "Pre-Running" and vise versa.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think you could maybe get by with it if you have multiple personallity disorder, run the XR under mnmudder and the losi under HANK
just remember getting an XR is not just the kit, the more spendy part is getting it running. If you do get one I can hook you up with some comp claws that only have one comp on them.

That's a good way of doin it, and you did well with that LCC for a first comp and no dig, maybe at the next comp you can run my XR through the paces and see if it's your "cup o tea", as long as my berg doesn't break by then.

ya i might do that after i run my lcc though the courses. i think once i get a dig for my lcc ill do better, but i wont have a dig by the next comp
if i get an xr10 ill have to wait even longer, but oh well i did good with out one. i would love to get a xr10 with all the gooddies and a 4pks but i dont have enough cash for that

yeah the drive line and axles are the same. So I guess it should. I might have to look into this.

To clarify 100% the answer is no. Only 1 truck per person. You can have as many as u want but must run the same rig the whole comp day. Example: u have an xr and break it. U can not grab a spare rig to finish the day u must fix the xr or your day is done. Does this make sense?

yup thanks for the clarification.
one more question what if you have 2 xr10s and one breaks, can u jsut change rigs?(this is assuming everything is setup the same)

no, one rig for one comp, you could use the second for parts to get the first running, but could not run the second (if i read that completely right)

EDIT: dang you guys post fast....

One season I was switching between running my old comp TLT rig and my mostly stock Axial AX10 from comp to comp

Yep we are all glad to help. I think u did really well with your lcc for ur first try. Dig and maybe a 35t or brushless setup, and some better tires will make ur lcc pretty capable. When moneys tight a few smart purchases can make a huge differance. Hope to see you and ur dad again.
