Think I'll be coming back to crawling

It's been a few years since I last went crawling. I think the first axial crawler came out about when I stopped. My dad had stopped taking me because I wasn't very good, and by the time I got my license I had moved on to other things.
well now I have a job and am going to school for Mechanical Engineering and am doing well.

I think I'll be fixing up my old gopher tuber and see about getting all the crawling dates off of work.

I also think I'll be building a scaler of some kind here. Seeing as I am in school for engineering I naturally like to design specialized stuff like you do when making a scale crawler.

So who all remembers me? I see a few of the originals are still about. Also could someone post a link to the schedule for the coming season, or is that still being decided?

Once I build a scaler there are some nice dirt trails by the river near the middle school that don't really have rocks, but they do have interesting terrain. Some smaller shallow pools that offshoot the river with like an inch of water or so may be fun. Of course I don't have a scaler yet, and even though there is no snow the batteries do not appreciate the cold on a prolonged expedition in the woods.

Going to look into what kind of scale class rig I will build. Either a street or a trail rig, but leaning more toward trail as that is what I envision my rig as being used for. Probably get a winch, some LED lighting, various other scale items. What really got me into it was a couple of youtube videos of scalers launching RC boats into a pond. As deep as they went they had to be waterproofed. I think I'll be creating quite the complex scaler knowing me.

Oh, and to all my old acquaintances, I have matured a lot since you last saw me so I won't be driving you guys nuts and acting like the immature kid I was lol! Once you get into the real world things change.

I would also like to thank the guys that helped me start out like Casey, Troy, Ryan, Mike, and I sadly don't remember Nicklepimp's name lol.
